Alissa & Dennis Maness

Owners, Arrow Athletics


Alissa and Dennis Maness founded Arrow Athletics to Jackson in 2019. Their mission is for Arrow Athletics to inspire families and impact our community to embrace an active lifestyle and overall wellness while forging deeper bonds through fun filled activities.  They love the impact that Arrow Athletics is making in West Tennessee and pray to build a legacy through Arrow to reach a trillion people!

Nicole Glancy

Gymnastics & Special Events Coordinator

    Nicole is our Gymnastics Team Coordinator, All-star Cheer Team Coordinator, Special Event Coordinator and Recreational Lead Coordinator. She has been part of Arrow Athletics Since 2019. Nicole has been involved in the gymnastics, All-star cheer, school cheer, and hip-hop specialties as a competitor since childhood and has coached for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Florida where she was a Gator cheerleader (CHOMP CHOMP).

    Nicole graduated with her early childhood degree and has applied that in every aspect of her life. Coach Nicole looks to Joshua 1:9, as her inspiration. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Elise Welsch

MST & Quivercare Coordinator, Community Advocate

    Elise Welsch has been part of the Arrow Athletics family for four years, serving at the front desk on the member success team. She loves interacting with customers, especially watching the kids have a blast.  Whether it's assisting with account inquiries, signing members up for classes, handling payments, or ensuring everyone has a great time at the gym, Elise is dedicated to making each visit enjoyable. Additionally, she takes on the role of Quivercare lead.       

    Most recently, she's excited to serve as a community advocate where she will be raising funds and promoting our community center 501(c)(3) by developing scholarships for our athletes. 

Anthony Jones

Martial Arts Coordinator

    Anthony Jones has been part of the Arrow Athletics team since April 2021, bringing over 15 years of training and competition experience. As a 2nd-degree Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under Brian “The Law” Hall, a professional MMA fighter, boxer, and Jiu Jitsu competitor, Anthony has a proven track record of excellence. His MMA coaching record speaks for itself—26-9 with 7 championship wins in just the last three years.

    Anthony’s favorite part of coaching is helping people discover their inner strength through martial arts. He’s driven by a passion for empowering others—and, of course, winning!


Amanda Scott

Aerial Arts Coordinator

    Amanda Scott has been an integral part of Arrow Athletics since 2021.  She serves as our Aerial Arts Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Dance. Amanda has also lived and taught dance in Turkey and Germany. Coach Amanda says “I hope to continue to inspire young artistic athletes. I strive to continue to find new ways to get better, get stronger, learn more and never settle.”

Tanner Walker

Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator

Tanner Walker is the Recreational Gymnastics Coordinator and a team gymnastics coach at Arrow. She spent 12 years competing—reaching Level 10—and even started coaching at 16 while still training herself. Tanner loves helping athletes find their confidence, master new skills, and have those big “I did it!” moments. She brings strong technical knowledge mixed with a fun, encouraging coaching style to every class and practice. Tanner is passionate about creating a positive, uplifting environment where every gymnast can grow, shine, and love the sport.

Kayla McCord

Adult Fitness Coordinator

    Kayla McCord came into Arrow Athletics in 2023 as a kickboxing instructor, then came on board full time to help in MST and Adult fitness in 2024 and has been here since! She enjoys the atmosphere of Arrow, and getting to know and work with all the different people here at the gym. She found her love of fitness and coaching in the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated with her Bachelors in Health and Human Performance. Her goal as the Adult fitness coordinator is to make fitness welcoming and enjoyable for all adults and not seen as a chore!

Abigail Stanton

Preschool Gymnastics Coordinator

    Abigail Stanton has been part of the Arrow Athletics family as both an athlete and coach for the past four years. She started as an Aerial Silks athlete in 2022, and has been coaching in Preschool Gymnastics since 2023! She leads Arrow Athletic's Preschool Gymnastics program with the intentions of every athlete learning not only core gymnastics skills, but how to have a blast while remaining patient! Her passion lies in creating a fun, beneficial learning environment for children of all needs and ages.
    In addition, Coach Abby will be transferring to Middle Tennessee State University in 2026 to get her degree in biochemistry. Her end goal is to become a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist! Arrow Athletics has become her home, and each of the staff her family along the way. 
 

Kim Walter

Dance Coordinator

    Kim Walter grew up in Memphis where she trained for 14 years in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe. She received her education degree from Union, and is a teacher and mom of 5. Ms. Kim has been coaching dance at Arrow since 2022 and currently serves as our Dance Program Coordinator. She loves helping students grow in skill, confidence, character, and community through the discipline and joy of dance!
